Dennis has taught psychology for 20 years and is currently residential faculty at Scottsdale Community College. He earned a Ph.D. in psychology from Florida State University and a Masters in education from the University of Illinois. He also teaches Ashtanga yoga at Modern Yoga in Scottsdale. He appreciates the philosophical foundation of Patanjali's Yoga Sutras, but views human consciousness from a modern science perspective.
